Tired of seeing these takes from someone ppl online seem to consider an expert on health. Even if you were to take these statistics as accurate (which would be ignorant, infections aren’t being tracked) the effects of a nonlethal covid infection aren’t comparable to the flu at all. This is so cruel

Death data show a clear acute phase from spring 2020 until spring 2022. Since then deaths have steadily trended downward and this winter fell below flu deaths. You can take COVID seriously and still talk about the worst of it in the past tense
