The history and resurgence of The Transexual Menace – Gay City News
There were some 40 of us that mild day in a half dozen cars on our way to the Falls City courthouse, where the killers of Brandon Teena — murdered two years

The rich don’t care about the rest of us.
Medicaid provides 40% of the funding for community health centers.

Medicaid supports 2 out of 3 people in nursing homes.

Medicaid provides health care to 41 million children.

Trump and his Republican friends want to enact massive cuts to the program.

We won't let them.

Spit it out, Republicans… you don’t know where all that has been.
"If the GOP could pull Trump’s dick out of their mouths long enough for the oxygen to return to their brains, they might see how batshit crazy it is to run a govt like this... But that would require a spine and these Republicans have the collective courage of a baby deer caught in a 6-lane highway."

1. On Friday Night, it became apparent that historic LGBTQ+ clinic Whitman-Walker in DC had erased trans care and resources from it's website.

The stated reason is harmful to us all.

I make my case against it, and other orgs, erasing us for federal dollars.

No More Compliance: Historic LGBT Clinic Whitman-Walker's Erasing Of Trans People A Step Too Far
On Friday night, it became widely known that several links to gender affirming care and transgender resources disappeared from Whitman-Walker's website. Their stated reason is harmful to us all.

This is so unconscionable. Elon Musk is personally extorting Ukraine to get access to their minerals for his car batteries.

Once again, Elon Musk is an existential threat to everyone on this planet.

Exclusive: US could cut Ukraine's access to Starlink internet services over minerals, say sources
Ukraine's access to SpaceX-owned Starlink was brought up in talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials after Ukrainian President Zelenskiy turned down an initial proposal from U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent.

Elon Musk: "I'm a bought asset of Putin? I'm like, he can't afford me"

Sickening doesn’t even begin to cover the way this feels. This is depravity at its lowest level. Everyone should have a pit in their stomach. This, this is horrible.
Elon's laughing at Black and Brown immigrants being completely chained up for a flight while the White House calls it ASMR.

Hell is too good for this bastard.

Get them where it hurts, $$$!!! Keep up the amazing work people.

Please do elaborate because what the actual freak?!
The removal of a transgender reference from the National Park Service’s Stonewall website wasn’t done by NPS staff. Elon, care to elaborate?
February 14, 2025 at 5:44 PM
My heart aches
‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

The federal government is attempting to erase us and take away our history.

This pride, we riot.

The constitution is burning.
Elon Musk re-shared a tweet containing Judge John McConnell Jr.’s daughter’s job and financial records on X after the judge ruled against DOGE.
February 13, 2025 at 10:06 PM
… and he had read only access …
This is absolutely insane. Musk’s DOGE crew just straight up *took* $80 million from an NYC bank account!
Okay what is going on here. Are the accounts at a private banking entity? Does the federal government have direct debit permission set up? So many questions as to how Treasury instructed this payment. (Via NY Post’s Craig McCarthy)

They care about deadnaming apparently. Can they even see their own insanity?!
February 12, 2025 at 6:46 PM
If nothing else has… this should send up some red flags among the supporters of the rotten orange and muskrat.
What the actual *?! The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, the United States DOGE Service, as an entity protected from public records requests and most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by classifying its documents as presidential records.

There are some amazing journalists out there keeping the truth and fighting hard to make sure we are informed. We fight this together.
I am working on the kind of story where I can't call people directly because it's not safe for my phone number to show up in their records.

This is the kind of leadership we need. This is the kind of lawmaker we need. Actually taxing the super rich to balance the budget… who would have thought.
Wall Street investors should not be paying LESS in taxes than Wisconsin firefighters, teachers, and small business owners. It’s as simple as that.

My bill would close this tax loophole and ensure the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share. civicmedia.us/news/2025/02...

We're seeing Neimöller's famous "first they came for" poem play out in real time and every institution is failing to meet the moment.
All this administration does is put every single nonprofit and institution into a trolley problem of either sacrificing trans people or hurting everyone else by eliminating federal funding.

It won't end with us. They'll do this with every minority until it's only white men who are left.

Donald Trump is trying to block trillions of dollars in federal funds to Meals on Wheels, Medicaid, and other critical programs that keep us safe and healthy. If allowed to go into effect, this would wreak havoc across the country.

Tell Congress: Trump cannot be allowed to defund our communities.
Tell Congress: Don't defund our communities
President Trump’s decision to block trillions in federal funding to critical services already approved by Congress is a reckless, cruel, unprecedented power grab that will impact every one of us.

I’m standing with Senate Dems because Treasury Secretary Bessent must come back before the Senate

DOGE’s hostile takeover at Treasury happened on his watch

He made time to talk to House Republicans about it

He has to answer for the millions of Americans who have been impacted by DOGE’s actions

They are silencing the media. There is no question. Keep pushing. Don’t dare back down now. That is what they want.
New — USDA sent an email yesterday to employees in its procurement office instructing them to immediately stop credit card payments to Politico, Axios and Reuters for department subscriptions to those outlets.

No reason was given in the email, a copy of which was provided to me.
