The Greek χλωρός (chlorós) means both 'grass-green' and 'pale, pallid'. In Tyndale's translation, therefore, Death, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, rides 'a grene horsse'. And apparently it's now just a thing in some translations that Death has a green horse.

CALL YOUR DEMOCRATIC SENATORS NOW
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

PL's funeral: me with the '29 Silver Jubilee Buick Peter Lehmann and I drove [or siphoned] to 3rd place in the 1988 Redex Bash. [It was branded Bourke to Blatherskite but our southern mob did Adelaide>Bourke first.] That Buick was amazing, sitting on 70mph all day once the mud had dried out.

As a minister in Chicago, I give thanks for the varied ways people of faith are showing up. Since June, several clergy and lay people have gathered outside the Federal courthouse weekly for a prayer service. Most weeks, passersby join in. We can't all go to Broadview, but we all can pray and act.
UPDATE: Reached out to the Rev. Hannah Kardon, a United Methodist minister who was there that day and has been active in religious demonstrations at Broadview.
“They are making it clear that they are scared of prayer … it speaks the truth that what they are doing in that building is evil.”
