This should pair up well with everyone’s rising health insurance premiums and the possibility of getting laid off next year when the economy collapses.

1. USG should release PCAP of drone or app comms with sensitive information to server, or completely GTFO about 'natsec'.
Stop acting like the public doesn't have experts and engineers who could falsify claims
2. US drone eng being not as good related to ^?
3. Do they have nothing better to do??!!

How AI and Wikipedia have sent vulnerable languages into a doom spiral
Machine translators have made it easier than ever to create error-plagued Wikipedia articles in obscure languages. What happens when AI models get trained on junk pages?

A school locked down after AI flagged a gun. It was a clarinet.
A growing number of schools across the country use AI-powered surveillance to detect guns and contraband, all in the name of making schools safer.

If they fix the passport control arrivals queueing system, I'm all for it..

The passport control lines at Dulles are a national embarrassment.

So apparently the reason RAM prices are suddenly through the fucking roof is that OpenAI cornered global silicon wafer supply destined for RAM??

CIOs about to have a big budget problem as all their hardware costs are about to massively inflate (cloud provider’s cost will too, will they’ll pass on).

Their solution is probably going to be sexy GenAI projects to “save money”.. lots of funneling money and jobs into a furnace basically.
The memory shortage is the result of corporate greed and the lack of regulations around tech monopolies. Three companies effectively control the global memory supply. One of them has just decided to stop selling to consumers entirely and OpenAI is eating up 40% of RAM production from the other two.
