On 10 Oct, 2016 both PM Malcolm Turnbull & OL Bill Shorten spoke on a motion denouncing racism in Australia. As Shorten stood, Sussan Ley was among a group to walk out. At the time, the push to weaken the Racial Discrimination Act was raging. #auspol youtu.be/F9y_v0yT8cE

Bad decision from the third umpire IMO, you could hear the click in real time and RTS showed a spike which couldn't have been anything else. But Brydon Carse? you've got a pretty big mouth for someone who's done two-third of sweet FA as a Test cricketer. Get back and bowl and shutup mate. #ashes

Josh Frydenberg is not the best guy to advise on royal commissions. He was tasked with implementing the Banking RC handed to him in that famous 2019 photo. By 2021 more than half of the recommendations had been abandoned or delayed. #auspol

"Josh Frydenberg said he opposed Bell’s appointment, without specifying reasons."

What a grub.
Sigh, here we go. Frydenberg would only be happy if either he or Netanyahu were appointed as the commissioner.

Frydenberg used the massacre to stoke his own political fortunes. Utterly contemptible.

300,000 Australians marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in support of a #FreePalestine. Plus weekly protests in cities across the country.

So NSW Premier Minns shuts down peaceful protest and our mainstream news media gives rolling coverage to a few "prominent sports people" 🙄 #auspol #nswpol

Loopy, nimbys & the new Olympics stadium no one voted for. No consideration of Indigenous history with it modeled on a Qld homestead & Jarrod Bleijie labeling the land as once a "dump". Will it cost Australians $3.4b or grow to $4.4b? Developers are clapping their hands. #qldpol

If AUS PM Anthony Albanese thinks the Zionist lobby, Gina Rinehart, the LNP and some "prominent sports people" represent what Australians want, he is very very out of touch. Didn't he see 300,000 Australians march across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in support of Palestine?! #auspol #FreePalestine

The comparison btwn Bondi & Childers

15 ppl were killed in both events by madmen

Childers- community came together

Bondi- community torn apart

The narrative determines how we deal with tragedy

Those who control the narrative are milking Bondi for all it's worth

It's so utterly outrageous. A park that's critical to the city & full of important First Nations heritage will be destroyed if we can't stop it, & it's not even a suitable location (from an engineering perspective, as well as access, surrounding amenities, not to mention disruption to the hospital)

Completely inappropriate for ABC Sport to run an interview during the cricket tea break with a spokesperson for athletes pushing for a Royal Commission. No other perspectives canvassed - just a platform handed to one side of the argument on a silver platter. Appalling.
