People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.

88% (!) of major U.S law firm partners are white and nearly 75% are men. And more than 50% of firms report having *zero* Black partners. These numbers are even worse when you look at equity partners.
