It appears the whole Putin “Ukraine tried to kill me with 91 drones last night” was entirely made up. And of course Trump repeated it and said he was mad at Ukraine.

Nightly Russia launched drones and missiles at innocent people.

And tried to Kill Zelensky every day

The strategic road network is managed by a charity and relies on the goodwill of land owners for access. Some motorways will be muddy and flooded each winter.

Also

The strategic road network stops randomly at council boundaries and investment is where councils are willing.

I'm unconvinced that car makers have seen the light.
Touchscreen are cheap to design and implement.
It's long proven that car companies have to be mandated to make things safer. They won't do so otherwise.
Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars. Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses.

Perhaps lippier drivers would be better off considering this stat rather than griping about cyclists.

This is one UK county. Multiply it by 120 (shires and metropolitan areas) and that is more than half a million drivers whose cars have been seized and probably crushed.

The biggest divide in America today is not between “right” and “left,” or between Republicans and Democrats.

It’s between democracy and oligarchy.

The old labels — “right” and “left” — prevent most people from noticing they’re getting the shaft.

Know the truth.

The upshot of the attacks you’re seeing on the European Union’s attempts to hold Big Tech to account is that Libertarians and the far right who see democracy as the enemy and do not believe capitalism should be regulated control the U.S Government.

The EU needs to hold the line.

More great news before the end of the year from what our Labour government are doing.

2025 sees highest British defence exports since records began, at over £20bn.

It is a huge boost to UK businesses and jobs, and also for the security of our allies in Europe and NATO, who are the main recipients.
