The simple, affordable truth: properly fund #socialcare and the pressure on the #NHS is reduced massively at a fraction of the cost of simply 'keeping up' with illness. #Dilnot
Watch @EdDavey.LibDems.org.uk's First PMQ vs Last PMQ of 2025.

Sadly, social care still remains an afterthought for this government, in 2026 this must change to fix our NHS.

An absolute no-brainer. The American surrender would be a catastrophe for Europe.
Abandoning Ukraine would cost Europe $1.4–$1.8 trillion. Kyiv's victory is estimated $606–$972 billion, roughly half the price, according to Norwegian study

The war will end when Russia stops fighting. Therefore, pressure has to be put on Russia, so that they stop believing that they will win. Why is that so hard to understand?

The terrible truth for #Tories and racists (there is a Venn diagram to visualise there...): the Tory #Brexit disaster made the #asylum issue an issue, when before it was a managed process coordinated with our neighbours.
Our asylum system has been broken by the Conservatives and by Brexit.

We need solutions that are going to work, and that’s what the Liberal Democrats are proposing.
