My priority for Scotland would be to establish a new banking network based on the German Sparkassen model, a Scottish stock exchange, realign the Scottish National Investment Bank with new management, establish a Scottish central bank, issue new currency & apply to join the EU or perhaps EFTA

Been watching the BBC coverage for 15 mins and there's no mention yet of the illegality of US intervention under US law [let alone international law]. Can't help think that Trump's lawsuit is causing them to feel unable to report what is happening properly.

Trump is killing international law on live TV.

Trump has contempt for international law and its value system that prohibits the use of force to change external borders. In its place Trump pursues “sheer coercive power” or mobster diplomacy with shakedowns, blackmail and deal-making as the agents of change.

The position of the US is that it can kidnap the president of a foreign country and try him in a US court for alleged crimes which were not carried out under US jurisdiction but the US president cannot be tried in a US court for alleged crimes which were carried out under US jurisdiction.

Come for the chart of shifting party support, stay for the fury at the fact we're going to have one of the most consequential Scottish (and definitely most consequential Welsh) elections since devolution, yet the Westminster media can't stop speculating about PM Farage in 2029 long enough to care.
