In the Service of Gods & Admirals A novel by James Keller "We have been observing your Earth" These were the words that came from the stars when humanity stood on the brink. Years of devasting global war had sent the planet Earth into a death spiral. With the major governments on the verge of total collapse, the Jada Empire came to offer Humanity a second. To evacuate as many humans from their dying world as they can and uplift them into galactic society. Giving humanity a second chance at life. Terra-Renatus The new home for humanity. Terra-Renatus is a quiet moon resting within the borders of the Jada Empire. Granted to the refugees of Earth by Empress Celestia to start rebuilding themselves. Slowly acclimating into the greater Galactic Society they have been welcomed into. Elise Clarke One of the first arrivals of the refugee world of Terra-Renatus and member of the colonial militia. Elise Clarke looks to build a new stable life for herself and her adopted sister. Which is made all the more difficult by the trauma she endured on her war torn homeworld 8 years earlier. Her new life is turned upside down when Molzren pirates attack the Colony in a attempt to abduct the Empress' cousin. The kidnapping is thwarted by Clarke's heroic actions which leads to her being enlisted into the Royal Navy by Captain Lan Rigoc. The first human to be given the honor. Setting her on a new adventure.
