Jesus Christ, how are you so unbelievably bad at this?

A deeply unpopular president is recklessly destroying our government, wrecking our democracy, covering up pedophilia and now threatening to use military force against our own citizens but you're tsk-tsking about protecting healthcare?
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

Okay @schumer.senate.gov, now it’s coming for your state. Are you going to help Trump fund his government, with a deal that he will violate and use to attack your constituents?
Trump threatens to withhold federal funding from NY if NYC elects Mamdani. An impeachable offense for any other president in any other era. In this one it’s just another Monday.

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social
in case you are unaware, there is no common ground with trump authoritarianism. Either stand up and fight or resign the speakership and let someone else do the job!!!!!
Hakeem Jeffries: "Donald Trump promised that he would lower housing costs on day one. Here's a suggestion for the Trump administration: try to legislate, and maybe we can find common ground in order to get something done for the American people."

Hey @thehill.com, any update on this headline?

Perhaps an apology to @kamalaharris.com is in order and perhaps it is time for you to honestly cover the Dump Administration.

Then why are you voting for a bill he will sign, a bill that does not protect consumers and depositors but instead protects crypto investors?
No President has the right to use the uniformed military in a way that violates the Constitution and taints the apolitical military. Whether you’re a supporter of the president or not, everyone should be concerned that major lines on the use of force are now being crossed.

If there's anyone at the New York Times who wants to actually cover politics, there's apparently an entirely new presidential administration in power now and it sounds like they're doing some crazy shit that might actually matter, unlike whatever the fuck this is?

Mayor Ras Baraka has been released, but he should never have been arrested by Trump to begin with.

Spewing MAGA talking points when all else fails.

You’re trying to disenfranchise 80M+ women, veterans, LGBTQ+ AMERICAN CITIZENS from voting!

Search “is Jared Golden…”
The first question that pops up is “…a Republican?”

Not good.

2026 is coming. 🗳️
🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.

This is the worst fucking take.
A: HE IS DEFYING LOWER COURTS RIGHT NOW. THAT SHOULD BE ENOGH TO MAKE DEMOCRATS "FIGHT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY"
B: We should not need to wait on a 6-3 Republican Supermajority to determine if Democrats should "FIGHT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY"

WHAT THE FUCK EVEN IS THIS?
Schumer: "If he defies the Supreme Court, then we are in uncharted territory ... our entire democracy is at risk. I believe that if Donald Trump should defy the courts, the public will rise up. Democrats will fight it in every single way ... autocrats only succeed if the public lets them."

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.
