The people formerly known as Republicans, now MAGA, have abandoned democracy and intend to rule not govern.
I really think that we have too much of a tendency to see everything in terms of the familiar politics of the Democrats versus the Republicans. Maga is a fascist movement, and it's about destroying that expectation entirely and changing the US to a different form of rule than liberal democracy.

Congress allocates $100,000 to each new president for renovating his office and the mansion. Trump blew through that putting up those two huge flagpoles.

Every single insurance company spends $5 billion per week to familiarize us with quirky spokespeople and their anthropomorphic animals. We spend 1/5th of our lives watching them caper about. They're able to do this because of the profit margins on the important product they produce (denied claims).
