1) “verbally” — so there’s no verifiable written record of the request
2) “buildings in the Federal Plaza area” — not “the Federal District Court.”

Once again, the Trump administration has been caught lying to a federal court:

Yesterday, it filed a declaration from Major General Niave Knell stating that:
“the Federal Protective Service (FPS) requested federalized National Guard personnel to support protection of the Federal District Court.”

The great @decodingfoxnews.bsky.social found two eerily similar segments that really did appear on Jesse Watters' program. Masked men with seemingly similar faces and voices appeared on the program to regurgitate pablum about Fox's enemy-of-the-day.

The third image was created as a joke response.
