It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.

I've also quietly quit shopping at Target. If I'm going to get a Walmart experience I might as well at least get the Walmart prices. (Generally just avoid both when I can, though that can be difficult.)

Current F1 season / title fight is the best argument for why NASCAR’s playoff format is so bad. Full-season points deciding the championship will inevitably lead to some years being a blowout. But when the fight is close it’s transcendent.
