Start w/ the Golden Rule.

Identity traits we're born w/into don't determine character.

Migration = survival adaptation. Anti-migrant = anti-humanity.

Single-issue voter — and that single issue is *universal* human rights.

Bottom line:

ALL of the strikes are extrajudicial killings under international law, murder under domestic law.

That's true of a first strike on any of these boats, & also of Sept 2 strike killing shipwrecked survivors (which would *also* be illegal in an armed conflict, but the US isn't in one).

They are also for anyone who has a mobility disability — not just for wheelchair users.

The other side of that is using shame that way stigmatizes disability, similar to school lunch problem where it’s better to just give it to everyone, but without knowing which accommodations you mean, it’s impossible to answer—no one should be mad about using ramps but parking tags need enforcement

anyway since Trump is ineligible to be president, all his pardons are null and void imo

Conservatives chose Trump to be their party leader a decade ago and have continued to support him. He is carrying out the policies they want, which are based on their deeply-held values. Why would we expect them to speak out against him?

just operation gatekeeper, v-chip, dems trying to find an outspoken minority to yell at to provide their conservative bonafides, hiring 100k cops, on an infinite loop, for 30 years and growing

It really is bleak, esp in the Senate. There are maybe 2 Dem Senators (Markley and Merkley) who at least have a voting record that shows they understand the times we're in. But for the rest...it's hard not to just get intensely pessimistic. Also, this country desperately needs multiple 3rd parties.
