Start w/ the Golden Rule.

Identity traits we're born w/into don't determine character.

Migration = survival adaptation. Anti-migrant = anti-humanity.

Single-issue voter — and that single issue is *universal* human rights.

The way our political/economic systems are structured are what's causing most of our problems; and cycling through diff politicians, plutocrats, and journalists employed by plutocrats —who all benefit from these systems— isn't going to lead to long-term improvements to our lives or our civilization.
Every time I check 🇺🇸 national news, I'm baffled that there hasn't yet started a nation-wide pro-human rights uprising against everything happening here; and I believe the reason is that legacy/elite media in 🇺🇸, *including* NPR and PBS, have been entirely captured by nationalists and economic elites.
The current (illegitimate) occupant of the US White House led a violent, attempted self-coup. Afterward, the Supreme Court forced him onto the ballots —in contravention of the US Constitution— and the highest-ranking Dem politicians didn't even protest the ruling. MSM normalized it all and moved on.

The other side of that is using shame that way stigmatizes disability, similar to school lunch problem where it’s better to just give it to everyone, but without knowing which accommodations you mean, it’s impossible to answer—no one should be mad about using ramps but parking tags need enforcement

your kind of suspicion (is that really a service dog) has routinely impacted actual disabled people with service animals. I have a seizure alert dog who does not look like a service dog (a lab or shepherd) and have routinely experienced suspicion and distress as a consequence.
My case would be that it’s enough that you’re regularly seeing it (ie people with their dogs in the store/on planes), and that it going unchecked is damaging to the proverbial social contract.

that's right

trump's pardons aren't real

because trump's presidency is illegitimate

trump disqualified himself from holding office per the 14th Amendment by his actions on J6

the US has no president, the country has been in a presidential interregnum since Jan 20th
anyway since Trump is ineligible to be president, all his pardons are null and void imo

the democratic minority leader was on TV this morning praising trump, telling reporters that trump deserves credit for securing the border
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

One of the reasons I think it’s also essential to not call the boat strikes “war crimes” but “crimes against humanity,” is that it emphasizes that Trump and Hegseth are acting extra-constitutionally and are not entitled to any shield from the courts. This systematic murder of civilians is illegal.

If ICE grabs Rep. Ilhan Omar, will any of her colleagues say anything?

They’ve been quiet about Trump’s racist attacks on the Somali-American community in Minnesota.

Must be a “no ceilings” thing.
Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."

It really is bleak, esp in the Senate. There are maybe 2 Dem Senators (Markley and Merkley) who at least have a voting record that shows they understand the times we're in. But for the rest...it's hard not to just get intensely pessimistic. Also, this country desperately needs multiple 3rd parties.

The left smashed, their Competent Sensible politicians won by a landslide last year and have a huge majority and the policies they dreamed of implemented.

And the result is endless horror.

It's powerful politicians like Clinton who manufacture lies to try & justify the violence they carry out across the globe against those with little power.

Gaslighting and patronising young people, some of whom have been to Palestine and seen for themselves what Israel is, is such a winning strategy.

This is just more of the "take their phones away so they can't question what America really is" claptrap.
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”
