PLEASE DO NOT GO DOWNTOWN, TO THE U, OR TO CEDAR RIVERSIDE ON SATURDAY.

Please be careful driving near these areas.

Cheap solar makes this idea absolutely ridiculous, but that doesn't mean that venture capitalists won't do it anyway.

A board game docent is key to playing a new game. They must have a good memory and a robust enough ego that they want other people to win instead of them, but be competitive enough to have thought seriously through the strategies.
Being good at explaining games is a whole separate skill.

One of my brothers is both super good at it and super good at suggesting games based on what his guest will enjoy and he's one of the only people who can suggest a new game and I'm like "sure, let's do it"
I used to think I didn’t like board games or a lot of games really, then I found out that I just don’t like having to learn how to play a game from people who are bad at explaining it. And because some don’t know, you can play a game very well AND be bad at explaining how to play the game.

Amazing that a mere decade after women existing for the first time, we're able to get funding for increasing their ability to survive car accidents.
The federal Transportation Department has approved a new female crash dummy, replacing an outdated model largely based on male proportions. The new dummy would improve safety for women, who face higher fatality and injury risks on the road, officials said.

Weirdest headline ever. This is the loudest case of "Blink twice if you're not able to criticize the police" I've ever seen in reporting.
From @theathletic.com: Police were no longer chasing Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland when he crashed his car into a pickup truck shortly before his death from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound earlier this month.
