I think it's time I share a little something about myself, instead of just reposting petitions and such. I think it would be good to explain why I haven't posted much of anything here for a while, then started posting the censorship thing and nothing else, even if this takes ages because character-

Get friends and family involved, february is when they are going to make a major push

I really want to emphasize that this is a winnable fight, but everyone has to chip in in order to do so! Please dont sit it out expecting others to stand in your place!

And dont ignore local/state level stuff! As these state laws get overturned, the narrative behind the Fed ones lose steam!

Netchoice won their legal battle against Age verification in louisiana! This follows similar rulings in AK and OH!

This is huge!

These laws can be stopped, they can be overturned. Do not give in to dooming! Keep calling your reps and support orgs that fight these laws in court!

You need to read this thread and you need to be calling every representative you have and threatening to literally never vote for them again and donate your time to getting them replaced if they do this.

If you don't, it's basically the end of the internet.
It’s very simple. Genuinely very simple. Until Section 230, it was the case that any website that allowed a user to publish any content of any kind could be sued if they said *anything* libelous or bad. That includes web hosts, blogging platforms, social media etc.

For heck sake, use ComicFury! It's incredible! No, it's not one of the "big platforms" but it also isn't trying to suck your soul and bank account dry.

It's great for hosting comics and giving you a personalized space! For free!

Here's mine: curiahcity.the-comic.org
Comix Cleric sounds cool, but I still feel like if people just poured more love into Comic Fury - a site that's existed since 2008 + gives you all the same freedom (w/o ads + it's free AND it hosts your comic) then...I mean, that site is already what everyone wants. It just needs more attention

This isn't final, still in the notice & comment stage. But if it goes through, even as someone whose job depends on people attending events here, I would urge folks not to enter the US. Send a comment TODAY yelling at these assholes not to do this!

(PDF in thread has full info incl how to comment)
NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

while KOSA passed the subcommittee, there is still the full committee meeting it needs to go through before being voted on by the Senate/House

support is more split on it than you'd think, we just need to pull away enough votes to block it. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!

I was checking through what bluesky's verification was and just immediately with this.
If you don't know, KWS had a data breech and it was confirmed user data was stolen that was supposed to be deleted

Your dirty, nasty kinks that so called normal society will look down on you for.

Because it doesn’t matter. Because drawing any porn is distasteful to them. You could draw the most basic missionary crap and they’ll still want to hang you.

Be free. Be a lil weird. Be loved.
