I spoke with some people on the ground in WI who expressed frustration that the focus turned to Musk and not things that people were voting FOR with their vote for Judge Crawford.

They voted for things like collective bargaining rights, fair maps, bodily autonomy, etc.

I say things intentionally.
It was a win for Democrats, Nina. It was a win. Take the win. Team players don’t what the Dem party did to fight back against Elon and Trump. They celebrate the common ground that united them to, frankly, oppose EVIL — and win.

I wasn’t gonna buy this book, but Ryan Daniels, public affairs manager of strategic response at Meta, just convinced me it’s a banger that needs to be sent to #1. Thanks for the recommendation, Ryan!

NO to this Trump/Elon spending bill that aims to make massive cuts to programs that working families have earned in order to give billionaires tax cuts.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

i honestly have never seen a political leader so thoroughly destroy their credibility so quickly and, on the other side, it is abundantly clear that if anyone can claim a genuine leadership of large parts of the democratic party, it is AOC.
Folks is it good when your own party's leadership in the House is dropping "listen to the women" and MLK quotes on you while swing state members of your caucus are talking about new leadership

The federal minimum wage is still $7.25/hour.

Think about what eggs cost.

Think about what parking at a parking garage costs.

Now how can you think that $7.25 is an adequate wage for an hour of someone’s labor. It’s not.

Elon Musk called Social Security a "ponzi scheme." This is absolute rubbish. Social Security has paid every benefit owed to every eligible American for 85 years. Perhaps the bigger "ponzi scheme" is the $38 billion spent by taxpayers to prop up his corporations?
