Alright. Rex's fav tattoo artist is doing a flash thing this weekend. And I'd really like that to be her xmas present.

GOD ALSO- I liked the "60sec to name all the words you can that begin with [letter]" one (I got A, S, and F), but I'm still a little embarrassed at the words that pop out when under pressure. Looking at you, "sulubrious" and "fornicate".

I did great at the list of words test though. That first list is in my head forever now, for better or worse, probably displacing some actually useful pieces of information but 🤷 oh well!!
I told the evaluating doctor very frankly that if I had to do both parts in one day like they typically do, I would have been curled up on the floor hyperventilating by the second test, so - VERY grateful for the separation, very grateful for Guus as a grounding point. Phwooof.

One of the few okay things about being poor/having nothing of real value is that you can adopt a weird horsebear of a dog who can't self-regulate on his own, so when he tears something up to process any feeling he has- meh. No great loss. Glad you got some feelings out destroying that $4 pillow. 🤷😂

Is there a term for what I've just been calling "mental echolalia"? Like when you see a license plate or street sign and repeat the string of numbers/letters over and over in your head for no voluntary reason?

Gustav's first vet visit was today and it went just fine; he had other vets and techs asking to come in to our room to say hi to him and get leaned on, and it reminded me so much of how loved and loveable Bart was anywhere she went and I'm happy for Gus, but hearthurty missing my babygirl.

I have to send a follow-up email to the Neuropsych evaluating doctor before part 2 this Saturday, including stuff I forgot to mention in part 1, which means being extremely real and honest about Certain Things I keep extreeeeeemely hidden/masked/whatever and I DO NOT WANT TO DO IT.
