A thing I'd add to @maxfawcett.bsky.social's article is BC, while antagonistic to a north coast crude pipeline, is quietly going along with actual, real efforts to maximize the existing TMX pipeline, via preparations for dredging to allow full loading of existing tankers. AB could mess that up.
