Utah’s housing boom in the Park City area is where you’d start if you were serious about investigating fraud.
This 23-year-old right-wing YouTuber from Utah was granted rare access to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), the authoritarian mega-prison in El Salvador.

Strangely enough, he also happened to be in Minneapolis on the very day Trump’s federal forces descended on Lake and Bloomington.

The Nick guy being a part of a family who does fraud is so very expected. Literally hiring family members who do nothing and stealing from people who do actual work as a “payment processor”. Just taking people’s labor.

like 75% of dem messaging right now should be “the party led by epsteins best friend is breaking into pre-k childcare centers so they can record your toddlers and put the videos on internet”
uhhh yeah I can see why these childcare properties weren't eager to let in some rando dudes asking "where are the kids?"

Why doesn’t Minneapolis have a ball dropping ceremony where it is a huge snow ball dropping off a downtown tower?

The MN GOP, including all candidates for governor, support masked men being able to walk into your kids daycare without identifying themselves while lying about enrolling fake children.

There is no path out of Nazism that runs through major magazines, PR stunts, speaking tours, television appearances, public office, or celebrity.

A BIG part of the process is sitting quietly out of the public eye as you learn to own your sins.

True for gutter fash, true for MTG.

That's a really good question.
User research with screen reader users tells me that "the changing part" must be put first.

Examples:

About me : "About Me - My Site Name"

Search result page: "Result for «Terms» - My Site Name"

Pagination: "Page 2 - Result for..."

This is truly the worst argument. I’ve had to scrub clauses like this out of syllabi and literally tell students ‘please just talk to your friends about your ideas.’ considering our historical moment, telling students to talk to friends and share work might be the most radical pedagogy i do.
When you think GenAI is Socrates rather than a fancier and fawning version of autocorrect.
In that frame, education should be actively engaging with AI, but not in "write me my essay" mode or an "assistant" type posture. Instead as a thinking space which expands rather than shortcuts cognition when done right.

Note: Trump admin has repeatedly used this image and invoked to the story it’s meant to depict — namely, Washington praying at Valley Forge.

But historians — including the head of Washington’s own presidential library — believe the story is likely entirely made up. religionnews.com/2025/09/29/c...

Ok I'm getting quite tired of artists having conservative reactionary takes to this news.

In this QT thread I'm going to ask artists 6 questions to consider, which I'm very willing to hear them out on and will hopefully lead to an interesting discussion.

Please do share your thoughts below 👇

Is anyone exploring the impact that companies adding AI into supply chains have had? Specifically interested in how that consumer tech is being security hardened as it seems like a huge target for surveillance and cybercrime.

Watching gov agencies “feed the beast” (aka appease the administration) highlights similar dynamics in publicly traded companies who are regularly doing short term, performative work to appease shareholders. This leads to long term trust.
December 23, 2025 at 6:32 PM
The only thing keeping me going at work is the few other folks who I know that aren’t totally brain dead about AI and are actually skeptical in their approach so that they can find the limits of the tech without assuming it is going to make the company infinitely more profitable.

I've seen over 700 Pre-Code movies, and hands down Sing and Like It (1934) has to be the funniest so far. A cast entirely made up of character actors, which may have something to do with how good it is. But the script by Marion Dix and Laird Doyle is chock full of gems I'll share in the next days.

Regime kills critical story

In retrospect functional democracy probably ended somewhere between bush v gore and assaults on the voting rights act, but there’s no question in my mind that another line has been crossed here.

The python is gonna keep swallowing and squeezing institutions.

That the law as it stands is just and cannot be changed or interpreted in ways outside some originalist thinking is such a deeply wrongheaded thing that has damaged our country. Ethics is about finding new, better interpretations. To shut off that muscle for an entire nation is itself unethical.
