Tonight my partner’s dad hugged & kissed my head as he was leaving for home. It felt like how my late dad used to do it & that was always one of the few ways I would feel loved in my childhood without the usual strings attached. It’s a happy thought & a sad truth all at once, and I am thankful 🥹

Working on a wedding gift to my friend-worker (coworker who’s also genuinely a friend). We have officially started on layer 2 of 3. 2 is gonna be a layer of color atop this first layer, with shadows colored in 😮💨 pointillism is a slow kind of hell but we’re making progress and I love it so much 🤷🏽♀️

Just had an impromptu Telemed visit with my Dr this morning about my adhd meds because my insurance *all of a sudden* wants to know that it’s “effective”after 5 months of already approving the medication‽ US American healthcare is broken beyond repair and we should just start the fuck over ffs 🤦🏾♀️

Every trans person, family member or ally who has spoken to the nyt has been exploited and abused. Every expert who has spoken to the nyt has seen their words twisted and misrepresented.
