While Twitter implodes over the cultural aspects of this, Reddit is panicking over the economics alone. I sent an email to my financial advisor. But overall, if even ONE of his policies passes, I don’t see how there’s not a crash. Idk how to protect my 401K & investments from this.
I'm concerned about the plan to crash the economy, crash the dollar, so Elon and the tech bros can step into the breach with Bitcoin. Not sure how to insulate against that. Savings in dollars would be obliterated. Same with pensions with stocks or in cash

Tim miller, who I disagree with often, said "we're all liberals now" & he's right. Either youre pro regime or youre against them and whether you came here via never trumping or leninist beliefs is absolutely irrelevant to the ppl on the other side because far as they care, everyone else is one side
if i've learned one thing from doing union stuff while also doing other forms of organizing, it's that you're better off with people you disagree with who are nevertheless trying to do the same thing as you than with people you agree with who aren't trying to do anything
