Wake Up Dead Man...felt a lot messier than the prev 2.

First hour was basically just lore dump with no structure. Blanc doesn't even show up, 'protag' isn't very engaging and performance isn't convincing, esp the voice overs. Passage of time and him settling in aren't really communicated either

UPDATE: My wife reports this month she saw this sticker in Seattle on a Subaru
I think a good flex would be to buy a "I Bought This Before We Knew Elon Was Crazy" bumper sticker and put it on a Nissan Leaf

I wonder how much this is "CEOs don't do real work" vs "AI actually IS more useful for that type of stuff" vs "CEOs are all just stupid af" vs "CEOs subconsciously(?) dogfooding"
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

tried to migrate my windows install to another drive and it wouldn't boot... because linux decided it'd be a good idea to change the partition type of every partition I copied to "linux" despite them being windows ntfs ...

Got a new external HDD- setting it up and copying some stuff from my SSD to it for backup and...it's managing a pretty consistent 100-150MB/s? Nothing compared to even my gen 4 SSD but I'm used to even internal HDDs capping out in the 80s, and often struggling to hit 60- quite impressive
