Saw someone say “it looks 3D Printed” and god forbid the leader of an invading army try to look like a larger than life figure and not that dumb brass trashcan armor people keep posting.
Nolan's The Odysessy has one of the Safdie boys dressed like he's from a Greco-Roman spin on Warhammer and I do not give a fuck if that is "historically accurate" thank you very much.

It's... always funny to me how a lot of self-appointed pop culture historians fail to understand the *necessity* of artistic liberty in any artistic medium.

Dunno if this completely tracks but I'm getting this impression that superhero fans are okay with the hero killing in the movies as long as the bad guys are a.) faceless goons / cg monsters b.) it's killing them in an off screen / indirect way rather than just straight up murking them right there.

As someone who likes two out of three of Snyder’s dc movies. I’ve noticed this weird trend with people who passionately hate them, they seem to have the same parasocial relationship with Snyder that his diehard Stan’s have but in the opposite direction.
Okay has enough time passed that we can admit that Mark Waid losing it at Superman killing Zod in MAN OF STEEL to the point his partner had to get him to sit down was a grown ass man publicly throwing a fit over a comic book movie and not something that should be lauded?

It’s kinda funny how the Hitman level he’s a cameo target for feels like a weirdly self aware look at this. With the whole plot being he’s an aging ex assassin using younger clones of himself that he’s super attached to in an ego driven way.
And man...they had to double him for the jumping round house. That's like...his whole thing.

I think what kills me about the childish euphemisms tiktokers and youtubers have is that going MORE serious and intellectual would just as easily get you around the censorship.
But they are, particularly in the true crime videos, degrading a serious subject with ridiculous replacement words.

At a show I had someone "correct" a drawing of armor and I need to explain to you there are no rules, people made what they wanted with suggestions of what was around them. The more you learn about people making things the more you will know there are only cart grooves, not train rail for design
