As a resident of Norfolk, Virginia and someone who would rather the tens of thousands of dollars that the BS Trump spectacle cost go to literally anything fucking else... I don't approve of it. That flyover was my student loan debt, wasted just so Trump could get a hard-on.

This was lazy reporting, and the Times would have done better for its audience exploring why so many Portlanders voted in DSA council. Article includes nothing from these voters. Describing Republicans in Portland as an “endangered species” is a choice.
