We're not spending as much as we typically do and we're being more deliberate in our spending. We're financially good this year but we're not going to give our money to big box corps and there's enough uncertainty that we're being frugal just in case next year sux

Sanded to 220. Then first coat of finish. Clear gloss. 2 coats should do it. Don't want it too glossy. Still want it to feel like you're touching wood grain. All made from a Bradford pear that we had cut after it split last year.
