This argument (UK’s dependence on US is strategic), Canada’s economic) is based on a misreading of Trump’s character and of Canada’s security situation. The fact that it is the communis opinio in Whitehall is why Starmer’s ratings are in the tank. If you don’t confront Trump voters will desert you.
