It is definitely both, Carney's policy isn't different than their own, so they can voice their opinion of Poilievre with actions instead of words.

The underlying joke is that this really /is/ owning the libs, considering Carney's Liberals aren't really governing like liberals at all, and instead are closer to Harper's Conservatives, if anything.
December 12, 2025 at 12:37 AM
I agree with the point about Conservatives feeling at home in Carney’s party, but we elect MP’s, not parties. This feels similar to when people say coalitions or supply-and-confidence are undemocratic.

In Ma's maiden Parliamentary speech in June, he praised Carney's mandate letter as something that could have come from a "centre-right party," but said Liberals weren't "ready to protect the communities of hard-working Canadians, no matter what promises they have provided"

The Conservative Party obsession with a single pipeline mirage, an anti-MOU opposition motion, and attempt to brand Mark Carney’s Liberal Party as disorganised, disingenuous, ambiguous, and unserious ... has backfired. The Carney government is now one Parliamentary seat away from a majority.

Why would Harper need PP when Carney's making all of his fascist dreams come true?

I will say that I find it very shady and mildly undemocratic that the Liberals are trying to obtain a majority they weren’t elected on through floor crossings

That and minority governments are better for democracy due to the compromise they necessitate

OH WELL
BREAKING: Conservative MP Michael Ma is crossing the floor to sit as a Liberal.

Liberals are now just one seat short of a majority.

I know. I’m astonished Libs are copacetic with these dashed-through bills of Carney’s, for instance, which will take away a lot of their own family’s rights just as much as it will take away ours.

Carney the CONServative lied to us as he campaigned as a Liberal. He was never a Liberal. He's just another lying bag of shit CONServative who CON'd us from the beginning and continues to CON. Why do you think so many rats 🐀 are jumping ship? Carney's more CON than PP. And that's fucking scary 😨 😳

Any CPC members who, at heart, pine after the old PC party days, should be delighted to be in Carney’s government.

That’s not a slight, just an acknowledgment of how far the Overton Window has shifted.
December 12, 2025 at 12:02 AM
I've been pretty shaky on Carney's domestic policies but seeing PP possibly create a Liberal majority without an election solely because of how much of a douche he is would be WILD.
December 12, 2025 at 12:02 AM
This is not surprising.

Mark Carney's Liberals are really the conservatives of old right down to the pro fossil fuel stance.

The CPC meanwhile is full blown party of nazi stains, AND includes all of Danielle Smith's rights hating turds.
