사실 그런 부분 없어도 메인스트림pc급 가격이 나오면서 esd 확장성을 가지고 현세대AAA를 1440p 60hz로 돌릴 수 있는 기기라고 한다면야 팔리긴 할 것 같긴 한데.

With a 3060 you should be able to play most games without trouble, I have a 4060ti and is it basically over-performing in all games because my 3440x1440 monitor is limited to 60Hz.
Mint is very good for games with no more effort than installing those drivers and installing Steam from the SW Manager.

i think the 60hz cap at 4K is n across-the-board technical limitation; my understanding is (at least right now, not sure if this is a thing that could be fixed via software) the Switch 2 literally can't do both 4K and higher-than-60fps at the same time in any game

Update: I fixed the vertical rollover! There was an out of spec capacitor on the vertical deflection circuit. Replaced it with a new 0.1µF film capacitor and it fixed the issue.
This set is now fully restored, and it also now syncs to 60Hz again!

Sheesh I've been playing the game at 144Hz for so long that working with these captures at 60Hz feels sluggish. But then comes Bluesky and nerfs it down to 30Hz like cmon it's 2025 you make my lowpoly game look unoptimized!

Okay, I need to buy a monitor for work. I'm not a graphic designer, and I do occasionally play video games on the Mac. Does it make sense to buy a 4k monitor (60hz refresh) or a gaming monitor which is maybe 3k (but variable refresh?)
