#Aimovig
So. I'm on Aimovig for chronic migraine. Been on it since it hit the market. The monthly copay used to be $50, but tey have a copay assistance card, and that reduced the payment to $5.

Until this year.

Now, the payment WITH the copay assistance card is $49.

I thought drug prices were down 1000%.

i actually prefer the syringe method, i hardly feel it and i can control how quick the medication goes in (i push the plunger in nice and slow) vs my migraine shot which is actually painful and it shoots in there so fast the liquid sits under your skin and is uncomfortable. aimovig is known to suck.

working for acute attacks. I'm on my 2nd consultant neurologist now, based at St George's in South London. I have nerve blocks every 3 mths, Aimovig injections monthly & Rimegepant for attacks. My attacks halved with this treatment. Sadly, my hormone blockers for stage 4 breast cancer

Aimovig update:
- first dose in Dec, second one last week
- 4 migraines in total since the first one
- seems like my symptoms weren't as heavy those times
- I can 100% feel a difference and it is making my life so much easier.

Tja. Hier ist dann also Nummer 1!

I think Aimovig saved my ass.

I tried several daily pills they didn't work.
Aimovig worked for a few years. I just recently switched to aijovi after an especially untreatable migraine. Def be honest with your doctor about how they make you feel.

I'm always one month away from having migraines so bad they make me low key suicidal.

All that separates me from being functional and quietly hoping I'll die is a $700/month injection I can't afford w/o insurance.

I would never take my own life, but w/o Aimovig, I fantasize about not existing.

i'm gonna try injecting my zep in my thigh tomorrow just to see if the side effects thing is true. i did my stomach first because i do my aimovig monthly in my right thigh, but i can do my left 🤷‍♀️ #awlglp1

Have you ever tried Aimovig? My girlfriend uses it and says it's helped her have less intense/no migranes and now she only has the occasional tension headache

I've been low key miserable for a week. My Aimovig wore off RIGHT as I got my period, so the first week of my new injection has been rough.

I've been pretty high to cope. I want a farming sim but with zero stakes. So I've playing Littlewood.

It's very chill, but more involved than an idler.

Took my monthly Aimovig shot and the injection spot hurt a lot more than I remember it hurting before. I had let it warm up an everything. So weird #chronicmigraines #chronicpain

When I was still getting them on the regular (hormones were my primary trigger so yay menopause, finally), I found relief from a monthly injection, Aimovig.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with them. It’s miserable.🫂💜

omegaverse aimovig got introduced in the early 90s at the latest im convinced
December 23, 2025 at 6:10 PM
first conclusion after using aimovig:
- suddenly only 2 attacks since my first injection (i had 10-15 each month this year)
- i didn't work for 2 weeks (often a trigger) but i've had many many other triggers where i just didn't get a migraine all of a sudden
- my last migraine felt less severe

So, take the advice and try some OTC supplements or not, but I wanted to give the provenance of my advice and experience. It probably won’t work for everyone, but it’s cheap and accessible to try. She also prescribed aimovig but the vitamins helped BEFORE I started it.

I was getting more than 10 headaches and sometimes needed 2 per headache. My new neurologist had me start taking 400mg of B2 and 500mg of magnesium before bed and prescribed Aimovig. Surprisingly the vitamins helped before I got the aimovig and then that kicked them in the ass! So there’s hope 🤞

Not sure if it is a coincidence but I've had only 2 migraine attacks since my first Aimovig dose? 10 was my minimum each month this year.
