Craving for mystery stories i looked for agatha christie adaptions

The overall feel of the game was that of a Christie mystery, and honestly I'd play more games with this structure, presentation, and mechanics set. The writing and story was top notch as well - having some knowledge of Irish and Celtic mythology gives you some early indicators of what's going on -

Have reached the Hound of Death in my chronological Christie read/listen: not a huge fan of ghost stories, but The Mystery of the Blue Jar has a very funny twist.

I have that theory too. It feels very Agatha Christie; it woujd be a great twist to the SL and could carry us well into the new year if done right.

Is it too early for a list of suspects?

Brad or Neil very unlikely…. But therefore worth watching. Marky? Amber’s dad?

Christie, City Park, Derry, Dungannon, Falls, Holy Cross, Limavady, Loughmacrory, MUSA, Queens and Rostrevor, The Fisherman's Walk all off and there might be others. Antrim, Ecos and Sixmilewater on!

I dreamt I was a private detective in an Agatha Christie murder mystery at King's College Cambridge...

Yes. Feels like they're creating multiple suspects (like Agatha Christie). Maybe not quite a death (I hope).

I think Christie is the best out of this group, too 😎

Ariadne Oliver was still brilliant but Poirot's voice was inconsistent as it has been for a few books, and I feel like a lot of plot threads were either not fully explored or not as tight as they could have been. But like Black Coffee (not novelised by Christie) it has great bones.

Finished reading Agatha Christie's Elephants Can Remember last night. This is one of the last novels written by Christie and it seems either her enthusiasm or writing faculties had substantially declined, which is sad as I love the Poirot/Oliver team and the themes of the novel are great. #booksky

You know what series would make a great reproduction?!? United Colors of Benetton. Do the whole thing: Christie, Kira, Teresa...did you know the Marina one costs $400?

they're all "styled" after agatha christie, but not direct theft of more than her way of telling a story. great casts and well made... just not very original.

And Then There Were None is still one of my favorite books almost 20 years after first reading it. Beautifully tense and tragic. Christie was a genius.

After discovering that I'm a sucker for "whodunnit" stories, I picked up the first Agatha Christie novel. Needless to say, I'm already halfway through it 📖

Also Agatha Christie

Agatha Christie definitely helps hehe ☺️

When I was bored I'd treat Limbaugh's program as a comedy show.

Trivia: in the 70's worked at KDKA Pittsburgh as "Chris Christie" spinning popular songs.

It was rare for Mattel to make the 5 friends together. Even Kira (on the left) wasn't always included in a lot of releases then. The only release I know of where Barbie, Christie, Teresa, Midge & Kira appear (as well as Ken & Steven) was 2001's Surf City when they had belly button bodies.
December 27, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Agreed. They have a Teresa and a Christie, but no Midge!

A Nora Roberts book

I’ve been wanting to reread some Agatha Christie so I want to go back for that and a Biography. I haven’t read KH yet but that might be too raw still haha. Plus browse the hardcovers. I’m not reading too
