The defection of Suella Braverman, who was sacked twice from Government in disgrace, spent £700m of taxpayers' money to send four volunteers to Rwanda on a deportation scheme that was then scrapped and has a public approval rating of minus 32 is currently being described as a "major coup" for Reform

How many times can we mention the word “floodlights” in an episode? In a week?! Have the SWs got some sort of bet on, or is there a particularly obtuse plot trail being laid?

I see Labour MPs all chuntering away on X as they discuss who might be selected as a Labour candidate - using a platform explicitly designed and run to destroy their party and any other party like it.

It’s hard to believe watching what’s happening in the US that we have anyone wanting to vote to take our country in the same direction. We need more coverage on the news.
BladeoftheSun

Nigel Farage, has proposed a mass deportation plan called "Operation Restoring Justice," which includes creating a "UK Deportation Command" modelled on the U.S. ICE.

Don't vote Reform unless you want innocent blood on UK streets like we see in the USA.

Horrifying.

I don't have the words.

I'm not sure any more are needed.
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Prosecute ICE is where Dems should be at next.

I don't wish the BBC to seem *overly* reliant on the truth as LAID OUT BEFORE US ALL in video evidence, of course. I respect their determination to present both sides of an argument. But Grandpa Mindfuck and his fascist goons aren't on sodding Question Time, are they? See it, say it, fuck 'em.

I know it must be tough being another Government trying to respond to an unstable mad despot president.

But this is a whole murderous régime. I beg you. Don’t call them “our friends”. It offends me heart and soul that we should align ourselves in any way with these rotten-to-the-core despots.

I simply can’t see how any conscientious, professional journalist can think what happened in Minneapolis is “a subject of sharply contradictory narratives” rather than a government blatantly lying in order to cover up a murder

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

I really need Democratic lawmakers to understand that we're fed up with them simply posting on social media "this has to stop" without calling for specific actions to make it stop.

We know this needs to stop. We elected you. Tell us what needs to be done to make it stop.

Am I being unreasonable expecting a local Labour MP to speak up about the appalling behaviour of #Trump even while #Starmer is silent?

He’s not a member of Government yet he argues “I don’t know why you think my role in life is to continuously comment on the actions of the US govt.”

Farage lied when he said he was too ill to appear for the BBC interview on Sunday.
The Heartland Institute, whose party he attended instead, doesn't believe in tobacco harms, climate change and seeks the dismantling of the NHS.

Filed my tax return last week.

Wondering what the HMRC would have done if I'd neglected to declare £380,000 on account of the fact that "I don't do computers."

Then again, I'm not applying to become PM! Maybe you should stick to your lane as a publicly subsidised grifter.
