i have seen a lot of this! the conlang and the music…ugh…a series of choices was, to be certain, made. on the 1 hand he has a deep competence at exploiting pop audiences in the blockbuster setting, OTOH at least most conlang failures are memorable and consistent and designed from a point of view

i can worldbuilding... i think my conlang is "spoken" by aliens that communicate telepathically and also it sounds like music. it's like. beamed into the heads of whoever theyre talking to i mean. the aliens have mouths for eating but i dunno if they make physical sound much.

terrible idea i thought of: sims conlang
the idea is to like make a dictionary out of all of the simlish words (because we have simlish covers of english music) and then figure out how to ascribe an *actual grammar* to it

If you're open to some extreme music, Liminal Rite by Kardashev is a hell of a ride. It's a concept album exploring the experience of dementia, features a conlang, and has some amazing atmospheric sounds as well as extreme metal. One of my all time favourite records

To keep my sanity in check, I got a lot of extra activities.
There could be family/friend events, roblox, Splatoon conlang, doomscrolling for clips, random video editing, transcribing music, watching video essays, or any of the projects I have on hold.
