#GAAS
We're streaming some filler GaaS catch up today in 20 minutes:

The 0080 situation battle is on in GBO2, I'm probably gonna to be in a GM
Next, let's fuck around with the limited time deckbuilder in Blue Archive, bc why not
Then, the new IS for Arknights is out. Will I survive?

This one is kind of a cheat/Octopath Traveler 0 situation in that it is repurposing a mobile gacha game in to a premium, non-GaaS game.

I genuinely don’t understand why some people demonize taking a break from something. To me it feels like the most healthy way to play games, especially MMO/GaaS

also the art style is very much in the same vein as most f2p gaas shooter art styles, which people are again increasingly sick of. It's cookie cutter.

They invoked the best single player and multiplayer shooter in the past 15 years to tell you about their new generic gaas shooter

The takeaway ive come to from all these people that leave Blizzard, Riot, Ubisoft etc and then go on to make another gaas game with zero creativity that dies in a month is that they never had any issue with the creative direction or business models

They only cared who was getting most of the money.

I'm coming up with Glonzo as a Service, GaaS for short. I *will* cripple any company you deploy me against by jerking off their venture capitalist founder under the auspices of combating Glonzo.

Why do so many people act like the leak is responsible for the DLC being canceled? As though insomniac WOULD have released t but gosh darn it those darn leakers ruined the surprise.

Sony wanted GAAS.
Then Sony didn't want GAAS.
Simple as that.

Otra consecuencia más de la maravillosa estrategia GaaS
NEW: For the last seven weeks, Naughty Dog has enacted mandatory overtime for staff to finish an internal demo of their next game, Intergalactic. The game won't be out until 2027, leaving some staff wondering: If they're crunching now, what will next year be like? www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Reminds me, there's a podcast that did some really in-depth interviews with some of the devs that worked on Concord and there was one guy who said "when I found out the project I asked 'okay but what makes our game different from every other GaaS one out there?' and I never got an answer"

The year is 40025. There is one game studio left. It produces a game every single day, killing over a million game developers in the process. Some say that the one game studio is dead but they are quickly branded as heretics

Rise/Sunbreak are probably my personal favorite. Really great melding of old and modern MH and some of the best monsters and mechanical variety in the series without falling into World/Wilds' worst GAAS trappings

“waterdicht” kan in de kop beter vervangen worden door “effectief” als je er een foto van een hek met gaas bij plaatst.
Trouwens: je treft het niet als schaap achter het controle raster waarvan inmiddels wel bewezen is dat die niet echt wolfwerend is.

No… said market just moved on to mobile games. And GaaS games. Like Fortnite is about as casual as casual gets. And fad toys aren’t a new thing, it just happens that this year it’s a video game machine.

Misschien zo’n wagentje kopen?

I say Gacha. But a lot of GaaS character designs in general.

Overwatch and League churn out characters like crazy. People love them (regardless of their views on the games in particular). But tbey register so boring to me

The Battlefront games ran into the issue of Lucasfilm being so strict with brand standards that there weren’t enough allowed cosmetics for monetization. It’s why there’s not much in the way of Star Wars GaaS games

Babyfurs are chill! I can appreciate babyfurs a great deal, but like any fandom it's a spectrum of people with varying degrees of compatibility. At the end of the day it's all ABDL, and while I'm not the goo-goo-gaa-gaa kind of ABDL, I can respect that brand of regression! You goo your gaas, homie.
