I don't mind a peaty whisky, but something like an Ardbeg is a bit much for me.

Ultimately I think there's a bit of macho stuff around the peatier brands. Basically, drink what suits your palate.

Will check out Glencadam. Not heard of it before!

If we’re on whisky recommendations I’m sharing Glencadam which was the 2nd nearest distillery to my house growing up and I didn’t know it existed until I found it in the Whisky shop in Oxford.

Lovely stuff. Not peaty, I’m not man enough for peaty whisky.
