I played a Hunewearl (elf hunter), friend played a Hucast (robot hunter).
Friend picks up a Holy Ray, a magitech rifle and he was jazzed about it because it had high stats. Tries it out, does crap damage. "This thing SUCKS", I ask him if I can have it, he hands it over for free, no trade.

HuNewearl? Legend.
I have always wanted to ride on a RAcast's shoulders.
Now, 26 years later. Thanks to the strange path I've taken learning blender and getting into animation.
I can vicariously live that dream through my character Mei.

oh oh one more thing; this entire setup also gives a fairly unique way of giving particular race/class combos a buff, unique animations
for instance HUnewearl (female newman hunter) and FOmarl (female human force) both have individual unique animations for daggers

I don't blame you. PS0 really TRIED, but man, just the controls on that thing were a mess. And the only real class additions weren't great either (HUnewms? HUmarls? Just use a FOnewm or a HUnewearl!). And the aesthetic didn't quite land. Beating the tower was satisfying, if time consuming (8 hours!)

Had to look up an old photo of my 1st character. I played this so much that I imported the official keyboard controller & component cables for my GCN. Played on Schthack for a bit after the official servers got nuked. Still have my old memory card, but no way to transfer the save file 🥹
