As many as a third of those with ADHD may also have Irlen Syndrome, a visual processing condition. Coloured lens and overlays are used by those with the condition to read and process information more comfortably and effectively. You can borrow coloured Irlen overlays from the library help desk 6/

Different colored lenses CAN be a sign of Autism/Irlen Syndrome. Different colored lenses filtering out different lights for different types of light/color sensitivity. My prescription glasses were specifically dyed to my needs.

I am reading about an MLM I signed up with. It includes a gemstone biomat, & I have 4. It includes colored lenses in glasses like Irlen, and I have them. It includes earphones that are placed over the mandible, not the ear canal. There are frequencies and music to help self care with allergies!

for iOS, it's Accessibility -> Display -> Color Filters flip them on and choose greyscale
I changed my phone to grayscale and I feel like I just quit meth. It's unbelievable how much less of a hold it has on me now. Highly recommend trying it!

I'll be picking up another pair of blue tinted Irlen glasses. I have one pair but the frames are rather boring so I only wear them for work, but my new frames are Vivienne Westwood branded so they'll be functional AND fab 😊

The PoV has irlen syndrome so has real trouble with reading and the main detective is very autism-coded and they get to be heroes. They are complex characters with complicated lives. The struggle with hope in a very bleak world

We want the Government to fund all UK schools to screen children by age 7 for dyslexia, visual stress (Irlen Syndrome), and signs of neurodivergence such as autism or ADHD. We think early screening would allow for timely support and help close educational gaps caused by late diagnosis.

My Light Sensitivity causes Migraines (less than 5 minutes of testing the new glasses triggered it) and makes it impossible to see, walk, read, or drive if I don't get the Irlen Lens film on it. Anyways, the Migraine triggered the HypoKPP, so all I could do was try to drive home safely (< 5 min).

They acted up because I had the Audacity to try to pick up new glasses before exercising. Whenever I get glasses it is a two step process. The normal corrective vision glasses and then I have them get an Irlen Lens film put on them to deal with my extreme Light Sensitivity.
