I enjoyed this. Mainly for the the descriptions of London areas where I used to live -- Deptford, Greenwich, Blackheath --albeit in a different era. Despite the rather grim subject matter -- death, the devil, occultism, murder -- it felt like a light read.

ich finde auch viel E-Literatur runtergeschrieben/"labbrig erzählt" im Sinne von "in diese Wortwahl flossen zu wenige interessante Gedanken, darum habe ich beim Lesen zu wenig zur Nachdenken."
Karl Ove Knausgard z.B. find ich mega-labbrig runtergeschrieben.
