One thing that stands out in the mask mocking clip, is its 3 men doing the mocking, when most ppl wearing masks are not men. And cis men are less likely to get long covid. So yeah, punching down in more ways than one. If men got LC more it would be better studied. #oneofthetwo #oneofthemanymaskers

2025 sucked. I lost a lot of baseline and the world was on fire.

Today, I put on clothes that one might wear to an afternoon social gathering at a professional's beach house. I did this so I could pretend to be well and go to the bakery for fresh bread. The only clue for others that I'm still ill was the mask I always wear in public indoor settings.💪😷

The last time I got sick was in the hospital in June. I was lucky that it was a rhinovirus and not covid but it was still pretty bad and most nurses and doctors weren’t masked. HCWs have completely failed us.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Alice Wong, a famous Disability Rights activist and advocate for proper observance of Covid protection protocols, died from contracting an illness in the hospital because they did not adhere to the exact messures she begged medical providers to employ.
