The news about the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center to support autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is very exciting. The center's goal to help children with autism become independent and respected members of society through music is a lovely fit for Suga. Inspired by Suga, some ARMY may decide to donate to other ASD charities, either due to preferring to support alternative programs or looking for something more local. We have had a few questions of our own about what we look for in ASD-related charities and, in addition to the standard charity checks, we generally look for organizations that have people with ASD on their board and in other leadership/staffing positions and also avoid programs that look to cure ASD. We love seeing all the wonderful initiatives and projects being discussed by ARMY. If you would like us to track your donation or project, don't forget to submit to our general donation form or map form once the project is complete.

In case you’ve ever wondered, GLG-20 is 1 of my favorite suggestions for donations that benefit Ukraine. I prefer non-boom. I also like that they’re a official charity (out of NY State, where I live), partly because some are hesitant to donate directly to units; it’s a good 1st donation.

Screenshots of a string of posts on threads that say: Ok, so I saw a post about how Taylor Swift wore an old otter tshirt. Her fans requested it so often that the aquarium it advertised reprinted the shirt, sold it on their site, and raised $1.5million. I absolutely love that the aquarium received all that funding. But why did her fans feel the need to spend their money? Couldnt TS have donated that money instead? $1.5mil is like 1% of 1% of her earnings, right? I don't know; maybe she did donate to that aquarium, either now or in the past. It just seems weird that so many people, approx 23000 people, given the shirts were offered for a $65 donation, would be willing to spend their money instead of asking the billionaire celebrity to do it. It just reads, "Hey, I make soooooo much more money than you do, but l am going to be a spokesperson for this charity, to ask you to send them your money so I don't have to." Am I the only one that thinks this? Why are you asking for *my* money? You got a helluva lot more than I do, so *you* make the donation!
