Metal Gear Solid Delta #JustBeatIt . This remake takes no chances and is basically a prettier version of MGS3. I still ❤️ this story and it’s the original game is one of my favorites. At times it feels like it’s missing its soul, but there’s no Kojima involvement @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

It’s one of the games I associate with my dear and late friend Welby, too. I watched him play Shadow of the Colossus and MGS3. He watched me play FFXII. And we played Sunshine together, swapping off for different shine sprites.

i think ocelot is so so so cute and funny in mgs3 and i'm beginning to appreciate him a lot more bc like. i think most writers would choose to have a more subtle backstory than like "his mom was the greatest soldier in the world.... and she gave birth to him

@kbash.bsky.social And here I thought, that MGS3 was a game which had (just like Silent Hill 2) every bit of it analysed and meticulously pulled apart. What a refreshing take on a narrative. The framing of CQC and Jacks relationship to it and the Boss through the lense of gameplay is superb!
