I was misinformed...Novavax will be submitting to Health Canada since they can now order in smaller quantities and the expiration dates haves been extended.
Thanks, I recall hearing that Novavax may be available here in 2026. It’s now up to individual provinces to order vaccines and I doubt that my crackpot premier would do so. We may again cross into Montana for it. The border officer we encountered in the Fall was actually quite friendly.

The whole thing is maddening and if I were Canadian, I wouldn't come to the US for anything right now.
On a high note, I read that Canadian officials have ordered Novavax. Idk what the delivery date is or anything else about it. If I can find the article again, I'll definitely post it for you.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! The side effects are preferable to Covid but I’m fortunate that the Novavax non-mrna vax has been available to me for the last 2 years.

If someone had significant, prolonged side effects from an mRNA vaccine, that’s a legitimate factor in shared decision-making especially if they previously tolerated a protein-based vaccine like Novavax better.

No unfortunately, Sanofi-Novavax can't be arsed applying again for the small amount of doses they would sell.

I had some very long lasting side effects from the mRNA covid vaccine & switched to Novavax which had none. Unfortunately Novavax no longer available in NZ, so haven't had booster in over 2yrs. A yr ago I got covid for 1st time & now have long covid. Would you recommend I go back to mRNA boosters?

Costco had the Novavax shot available last time I got mine and honestly it was nicer than the flu shot. Moderna used to fuck me up for more than a couple days.
