#Person-Centred
This is a very apposite point; I can think of very few authors who have lots of memorable protagonists but only very few bad ‘uns; people after all remember the Grand Inquisitor far more than Alyosha

Where you train means less than how good you are and how ethical and professional tbh.
In slight defence of this letter writer, they say they are a family/relationship therapist. Ergo their client is the relationship, not the individual. So they arent person centred/focussed.

I shall never understand how Americans ever elected such a vile, self-centred stupid person to be their president. Madness!

There have been policies for person-centred healthcare for decades.

Yet we get constant feedback from the system of substandard care. The response? *A new policy*

We never seem to give sustained thought to implementation, resourcing required, & why our approach hasn't worked- what gets in the way?

Commendable person-centred care! We’ve seen a lack of curiosity even in the face of there being no record of the extreme illness and symptoms or experience anywhere, while the system clings to a single genetic dx as explanation or resigned fatalism and the patient deteriorates?
