En el tercer y último día, Dizdarevic y la mayoría de los que lo rodeaban no podían contener sus emociones cuando llegaron a Potocari, el sitio del monumento a las víctimas de Srebrenica. En el valle cubierto de hierba salpicada de hileras tras la hilera de lápidas de mármol blanco, se encuentran los restos de los edificios de concreto de losa gris donde el batallón holandés de la ONU había sido estacionado para proteger a los bosnios durante la guerra.
