Fact is management has already made some tough decisions re Monty – giving Jakub Dobes more starts, then sending Montembeault down – and they will continue to do what's best for the team, not what's best for one player's psyche.

One thing we don't talk about in writing the Trading Post is identifying with the characters. At least in my case, when I am into a character thry feel like part of my psyche since I have to write and think as them more than when writing a book or something removed.

Capitalism had failed as the human psyche can not deal with wealth. As soon as fortunes are made they just want more and more. They could do good and enable a more equal society but no greed wins. That’s why governments should intervene. Equal societies are better for everyone.

I broadly agree with you but at the same time, I try and find a way to live my life in a way that means I'm not constantly at war with my own psyche. Also both sides of my family were straightforwardly working class - builders and farmers respectively. Which is why both sides got on famously. (1)
