I’m Flame. I draw lots of OCs and play lots of Final Fantasy and other games. I like to create and don’t always focus so I bounce around projects a ton. Here is some of my work.

My OC Tina holding a gray cat as she speaks her language, Raver Speak, to it which amounts to being symbols like rectangles and triangles.

Into the Lair of the Krampus

A silly Christmas Sheila comic for the holiday!

Originally I had planned a second page featuring the traps in the lair and the encounter with the monster, but time ran short. If there's interest maybe I'll finish it up anyway.

Sheila doubts their capability to get in, and winds up getting stuck. The text reads: Panel 1: Rosalie: "a bit of a climb, but here we are!" Sheila: "Remind me why we couldn't use the front door, please." Rosalie: "Krampus 's Lair is trapped! Previous adventurers who tried the front door were crushed by thousands of jingle bells." Panel 2: Rosalie: And there's the real entrance!" Panel 3: Sheila: "Down a chimney? Really?" Rosalie: "oh you'll be fine!" Panel 4: Sheila: "I don't know about this... It looks like a tight fit." Rosalie: "think of it as the first of the challenges we'll face!" Panel 5: Sheila: "Oh, by the Abyss..."

Kaelith, featured in last week’s post, is poised to be the first hero who is a solo protagonist! Solo protagonist stories are rather rare in modern fantasy/SciFi. I’m willing to bet January on Kaelith’s lone-swordswoman tale, as we drop smaller stories about the world around her.

For all Koma gave to fight, all fighting did was leave her with sorrow. For all she lived by as a hero, the classic legend of the Iron-Masked Swordswoman was one of a tragedy of a girl whose duty utterly broke her heart.
