Thank goodness Norwich City Council signed up to the Local Digital Declaration in 2020 so that they can commit to follow the TCOP and Service Standard and not do this sort of thing.

Be need stricter enforcement of standards too, for instance TCoP, spend controls, service standards, it’s hit and miss across gov, standards have slipped a lot since Covid and people have gotten complacent. Teams should be stopped from wasting money, when it’s obvious it’s happening.

I am joining the world of parents complaining about school digital stuff this year. Can I suggest we do some actual activism? Can we all club together and start pushing for (at least) TCOP adherence for school admin tech?
