💙 Vanya will make her man whimper and the praise him for being a good boy. She enjoys being in charge, reasonably, of course, and she's good at it. There's always consent and no going beyond that.

❤️ Branwyn is good at setting the mood, unwinding before they get to it, foreplay, all that. Oh and, she will peg the mage and he will enjoy it. Also, she's creative. She'll bring freaky ideas on the table. She'll bring magic on the table also.

💚 Fern is so good at teasing Cullen. She loves him, but she also loves to drive him crazy when they're not able to get down to it instantly and even when they can…and frankly, it drives her crazy too, but that wait is always worth it.

💜 Havran gives good head. Really good. She loves to give.

Amya keeps with Zev & Ali the most. She writes to Leli and Morrigan (or sends copies of her journals, she's not the best at direct words) & occasionally checks up on her Awakening companions (ones she can reliably find). She misses Alistair often bc he's stuck at the castle while she & Zev travel.

I've made Alessandra in at least two other games. She's a Sylvari in Guild Wars 2 and a Wood Elf barbarian in BG3. I'm not sure if I'll keep barbarian as her base class or change it to fighter; it's undecided. I just wanted access to berserker rages

💙 I can't think of anything super "cringe" for Vanya. I'd say (lovingly) that Alistair has cringe enough for both of them.

❤️ Branwyn jokes a lot and some of her jokes obviously belong in the "this sounded funnier in my head" category. Also, as she grows older, she has big "how do you do fellow kids" energy.

💚 Fern's drunk dancing is of the goofy clumsy white girl variety.

💜 I can't explain it but Havran to me has "I am cringe but I am free" gen Z energy overall. Her cooking makes Crows cringe, too.

Vanya along with Alistair, at this point both free from the Calling for a couple of years, held the line and fought against the Blight in southern Thedas from Vigil's Keep for as long as it was possible. She was in contact with Fern and the newly reunited Inquisition. Their kids were in Skyhold with "Auntie Inquisitor", in safety, or so they thought (but generally yes, at that point Skyhold was more safe than anywhere else). When the order came for all Wardens to come to Weisshaupt, Vanya's gut was telling her to disobey and protect Ferelden instead. It was a difficult decision, followed by a long discussion, but eventually, her Wardens stayed. Vanya worked even more closely with the Inquisition's forces as the situation got worse. Too long, didn't read, as I've joked before, Vanya and Fern's joint girlboss power is what keeps the south from turning complete blighted wasteland during Veilguard. During this time also, Vanya spent a lot of time with her bestie Morrigan again, and also got to know Kieran better at last. He's part of the family now, and that comes with being Vanya and Alistair's kids' babysitter. Kieran has mixed feelings about that.

Branwyn and her family had relocated to Rivain a few years ago, and she was mainly focusing on them and on healing from her trauma when shit hit the fan. She and Anders had their hands full with their daughter Astraea and her magic slowly starting to manifest (promising trouble in the future, but that was to be expected with a Hawke child, wasn't it). They were involved in the local community, as well as helping Isabela and the Lords. As the events progressed, Branwyn was getting more and more restless (Anders too, naturally, but this ain't about him). Helping locally was great, sure, and it mattered, sure, but knowing she's capable of so much more, she wanted to leap into action and fight for the future. She couldn't just sit back anymore when the eclipse came and Isabela was gathering allies to go to Minrathous. Branwyn ensured Astraea was safe, and left for the final battle with Isabela and Anders (and Merrill, she and Isabela are married your honor, Merrill left with them too).

Fern expected things to go awry one way or another, but she couldn't predict just how awry they would go. As much as she would have liked to retired, she was ready and willing to take up the mantle of the Inquisitor again. Not only blight hit the south, in the beginning the Venatori swiftly and cleverly took out many people in power, pushing Ferelden and Orlais further into chaos. They tried for the Inquisitor's life too, but failed. (They did however manage to kill the Queen of Ferelden, but that is more important for what Vanya and Alistair would get up to after Veilguard and we'll leave that for another day.) Fern called the Inquisition again, and soon it was the main and almost the only force holding the south together.

Funnily enough, from my perspective as a player, all of them were coincidences and not planned soulmates or anything (well, Lucanis was one of the companions I was considering for Havran, but I wasn't 100 % set on him before starting the game)

💙 Vanya doesn't. Her falling in love with Alistair was an unlikely accident (but one she's very happy about).

❤️ Branwyn didn't, until Anders. It just…somehow feels like they were meant for each other, you know. She's not sure about fate, destiny overall, but this one thing, it just had to be. Had to.

💚 Fern believed in soulmates, and in a way, I guess, still believes. She wouldn't trade Cullen for anyone in the world. But also, maybe it was a "right place, right time" situation for them. She's not sure what she would call it, but she's happy where she is, no doubt.

💜 Havran does. She never really seeked out relationships, but she believed if it is meant to happen, it will happen when it will happen. And that's precisely how it was with Lucanis. Everything just clicked so perfectly with him.
